When the stain is lighter use mild dish washing detergent to blot the remaining stain. Absorb red wine from carpet. First mix 2 cups a liter of water with 1 tablespoon 15 milliliters each of vinegar and dish soap. Then blot the area you like you did originally with a clean cloth.

For this step you can either sprinkle a generous amount of baking soda onto the stain or make a paste. Combine 2 cups of cold water 1 tbsp of dishwashing liquid 1 tbsp of white vinegar dampen a cloth with solution dab and alternate dab with a dry white cloth use a new cloth cold water to finish. Do not pour too much water at a time and switch out the blotting cloth for a dry one as you work. Cleaning red wine stain is an easy job with just vinegar and dish washing liquid.

Let it sit for about 5 minutes don t let it dry but you want it to work on the stain. Pour vinegar solution on the stain and blot with a clean cloth. Despite its pungent aroma vinegar can often prove an effective and natural cleaner and wine stains are no exception. Continue blotting until no more stain can be removed using this method.

Pour a small amount of cool water onto the red wine stain on the carpet and continue blotting. Dampen the sponge in cold water before applying for the best results. Diy stain solution by mixing 1 3 cup of white vinegar with 2 3 cup of water. Then saturate a sponge with the solution and blot the stain until it disappears.

Here is what we do. Don t press too hard as you might push the red wine further into the fibers. The water dilutes the red wine which makes it easier to blot up. Grab your best sponge and begin to blot up the color of the stain gently.

Repeat step 2 until you don t notice any more red wine on your cloth and ideally not on your carpet as well. Pour small amount of cold water on stain and keep blotting to dilute. You fold the rag up in half and clean up the glass. Begin by mixing one tablespoon of vinegar and one tablespoon of dish soap with two cups of warm water.

We get a white rag cloth or paper towels a spoon of vinegar a spoon of dishwashing liquid a spoon of salt and warm water.
